Farm Bill Mostly Neutral on Pollinators, Research Funding up or Steady, and Added Sugar off the Table

Van Arsdall summarizes the farm bill and how it pertains to pollinators in comparison with the bill passed five years ago. Items pertaining to research are also listed. He also covers items that indirectly affect bees and beekeeping.

The “No Sugar” change means that maple syrup and honey producers do not need to list pure products as containing added sugars on their nutrition labels (a concern because referring to these as having added sugars is misleading).
