This four-part course is for anyone interested in learning more about honey bees and can help you decide if beekeeping is for you. Basic honey bee biology and beekeeping techniques, equipment needs, site selection, best management practices, bee diseases, and more will be presented.
Time: 7:00-9:00pm (doors open at 6:30pm)
Location: Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds – 19201 E Bagley Rd, Middleburg Hts Bldg 25
Cost: $50. Includes classes, yearly family memberships, and a monthly email newsletter

- Feb. 3: Equipment
- Feb. 10: Bee package installation
- Feb. 17: Seasonal inspection/care of the hive
- Feb. 24: Threats to the hive and treatments
